There are many ways you can support The Cam Neely Foundation. Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible if no goods or services were received in exchange for them (for Foundation events, a net of your donation and goods received is tax deductible).  Your support will help us to continue our mission to provide comfort, support and hope to cancer patients and their families.

Sponsor an Event

Throughout the year, The Cam Neely Foundation  puts on two signature events to raise much-needed funds for cancer patients and their families.  The first event is the Cam Neely Invitational which takes place every June.  The second event, Comics Come Home, takes place at the TD Garden each November.  We have many great sponsorship levels available for each event.  To learn more, please email Andrew at aosofsky@camneelyfoundation.org.

Host an Event to Benefit the Foundation

Being a non-profit organization, our success at providing comfort, support and hope to cancer patients and their families is largely dependent on individuals and corporations that hold events on our behalf.  No matter the size, hosting an event to benefit The Cam Neely Foundation will make a real difference in the lives of those battling this terrible disease.  To learn more about hosting a third-party fundraiser, please email Andrew at aosofsky@camneelyfoundation.org today!

Bequests

A bequest to The Neely House will qualify your estate for a charitable tax deduction equal to the entire amount you bequeath. A bequest is not subject to federal or state inheritance taxes. It is deductible in determining the taxable estate, and there is no limit on the amount of the deduction. Through your will or living trust you can make a bequest in one of the following:
Specific: A specific amount or asset is transferred to The Neely House. To maximize the tax savings, consider gifts such as savings bonds, retirement accounts and real estate.
Percentage: A specific percentage of your estate.
Residuary: The residual left in your estate is transferred after all other specific bequests have been satisfied.
Contingent: If your named beneficiaries (family and friends) do not survive you, it is important to name a charity as your contingent beneficiary.
Restricted: A bequest is restricted to a particular portion of The Neely House or its use.

Processing With A Purpose

Processing with a Purpose is a program developed to support The Cam Neely Foundation for Cancer Care through a daily business activity, the processing of credit cards. A contribution will be made to the Foundation based on the revenue that is received for processing Visa, MasterCard and American Express at participating businesses. No direct contribution is required to join the program, the donation is made on behalf of all businesses that process with Processing With a Purpose.  Since the program began, over $178,000 has been donated to The Cam Neely Foundation!
What your business does every day can change lives forever!

Donate Stock

Consider giving appreciated stock to a charity, not only for philanthropic purposes, but also for the charitable deduction.  By donating appreciated stock, you maximize your gift to the charity while minimizing your taxes. Instead of selling the stock and paying capital gains taxes out of your pocket and then sending the cash to the charity, you can donate the appreciated security to the charity, which can then sell the asset on its own without tax consequences. And you can deduct the full market value of the holding at the time of donation.
